Received around 40 Expression of interests for ELTA – ELSE Faculty development projects and around 80 Expression of interests for ELTA – ELSE Department/Unit development projects.
Around 190 applications for PhD scholarships were received
Around 160 applications from Universities for PhD scholarships from the first round were received and around 30 applications from SLIATE for Masters and professional doctorates were received

All 15 Universities have appointed University Business Linkage (UBL) Cell Directors to set up UBLs which will function as Tech Transfer offices in the Universities in Sri Lanka.
